The School will bring together 60 postdoctoral researchers and 10 keynote speakers. Eligibility is restricted to postdoctoral fellows supported by funding agencies operating in Brazil, working in fields within the scope of the School.

Inspired by the experience of the “São Paulo School of Advanced Science” program (espca.fapesp.br) and the “Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings” (www.lindau-nobel.org), FAPESP will hold the in-person event called “FAPESP Interdisciplinary School 2025: Humanities, Social Sciences and Arts”, from December 1 to 5, 2025.

The goal is to offer postdoctoral fellows from all over Brazil, working in Humanities, Social Sciences and Arts, the opportunity to:
- Engage with leading scientists from Brazil and abroad;
- Learn about research trajectories and major challenges across disciplines;
- Present their own work (short pitch presentations and posters);
- Establish long-lasting professional networks;
- Take part in conferences, workshops, debates, and cultural activities.

The FAPESP Interdisciplinary School 2025 will be held at the Instituto Principia, in São Paulo, Brazil. Founded in 2019 as the successor of the historic Institute of Theoretical Physics, Principia has become a hub for cutting-edge research, education, and cultural initiatives. As part of the FAPESP Interdisciplinary School 2025, participants will enjoy a guided visit to the Museu Paulista, one of Brazil’s most important historical and cultural institutions.
